Yohualli, derived from the Nahuatl word for "night," is an atmospheric black metal project inspired by the spiritual symbolism of darkness, the mysteries of the cosmos, and echoes of ancient Mesoamerican tradition. Founded in 2008 in Huntington Park, California, by Yohualli Ehecatl, the project combines raw aggression with haunting atmosphere. Forged within the Circle of Shadows, Yohualli serves as an invocation of the unseen, embracing the night as a realm of transformation where silence and shadow reveal what daylight conceals.
