LIMITED EDITION OF 250
“Yohualli” means “night” or “darkness” in the Nahuatl language of the Aztecs and this self titled debut album explores the vastness & chaos such darkness can contain while exploring the mysteries of the cosmos and echoes of ancient Mesoamerican tradition.
The album is a descent into raw, atmospheric black metal, where dense walls of distortion, relentless percussion & haunting melody dissolve into cosmic darkness. Chaotic, hypnotic and deeply desolate, Yohualli drifts between violent nocturnal assaults and eerie passages of noise, isolation & otherworldly atmosphere.
This edition of the single LP album is pressed on a dimensional hand-poured mix of deep & bright sky blues. Hand-poured vinyl swirls & blends in organic and unpredictable ways; making each disc truly unique.
Please note that each LP is unique. Color & marbling will vary.

About the Artist
Yohualli
Yohualli, derived from the Nahuatl word for "night," is an atmospheric black metal project inspired by the spiritual symbolism of darkness, the mysteries of the cosmos, and echoes of ancient Mesoamerican tradition. Founded in 2008 in Huntington Park, California, by Yohualli Ehecatl, the project combines raw aggression with haunting atmosphere. Forged within the Circle of Shadows, Yohualli serves as an invocation of the unseen, embracing the night as a realm of transformation where silence and shadow reveal what daylight conceals. The project stands as a tribute to the eternal darkness that lies beyond the stars.
