Printed Garment Care & Longevity

ABOUT OUR APPAREL
Most apparel on this store (t-shirts, long sleeves, hoodies, etc.) features our designs screen printed onto blank garments from established apparel brands. Each product listing names the brand and model of the blank garment used, so you can check that brand's sizing, fit and fabric details before ordering. Please refer to the size chart on each listing, as fit varies between brands and styles.

WHEN YOUR ORDER ARRIVES
Garments are not washed after printing, and some may have a faint vinegar or chemical smell from the ink-curing process and or a square "impression" left by the press. This is normal and will disappear after the first wash.

PRINT WEAR OVER TIME
Screen printed graphics naturally show some wear with repeated wearing and washing, including light cracking and/or fading. This is a normal characteristic of screen printed garments and not a defect.
Very fine lines, small details and sharp corners in a design are the areas most likely to show wear first.
Designs featuring "discharge" print are naturally softer to the touch and less prone to cracking over time.

Please note that some designs described as "Vintage look" have "cracks" and/or "fading" pre-placed into the artwork. This is an intentional aesthetic inclusion & not a defect.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
To keep your prints looking their best:

  • Turn the garment inside out before washing.
  • Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle with similar colors.
  • Avoid bleach and harsh detergents.
  • Hang or lay flat to air dry (tumble drying on high heat shortens the life of the print and may cause shrinkage).
  • Do not iron directly on the print; if needed, iron inside out on low heat.
  • Do not dry clean.

Always follow the care label inside the garment, which comes from the blank garment's manufacturer.

DEFECTIVE ITEMS
If a print arrives damaged, misprinted, or fails shortly after arrival despite proper care, please email sales@wolfmountainproductions.com with photos and your order number and we'll make it right.
